Cervical Cancer

The number of women who get diagnosed with this cancer every day, and the number who suffer and die every day, is very sad indeed.

Whenever the opportunity arises I speak out on the need for the government to prioritise cancer research and prevention.

I have also spoken out about the delays, including those at the GP end, where people often lose several days—if not, on some sad occasions, weeks— before they get into the NHS system for treatment.

I will continue to speak out on these matters, and notably to champion the NHS, which is not something the government are doing, despite the public clamouring for it.
